Letter to Tidus, dated several days before Yuna went off to stop the Beckoned Sin.

"To Tidus,

You're probably not going to see me again after reading this. I've gone after Sin alone, after numerous Summoners fell to the beast we helped slay. They say I'm the only one who can stop Sin, but I'm not even sure anymore.

I want you to know I lied. There isn't anyone else, I acted out of anger. We should have talked it through between each other, but we were both scared of the result. I know you won't fight, with your injury. That small solace, that you'll be fine even just a little bit longer, has brought me peace.

Do you remember the Moonflow? Climbing Mt. Gagezat? Fighting Yunalesca and forging our own path, even. The adventure was the greatest of my life, but then you were gone, and I spent so long trying to find you. And I did.

And then you were gone again. That bomb went off, and you died. But you came back. I brought you back, but you weren't Beckoned. You were so much more, and I was so happy. But what caused our sorrow?

I suppose I wasn't around enough. I was too busy helping New Yevon to focus on you, and I am sorry. You felt neglected, and got yourself injured because of me. Fights led to more fights, and then there was that night... We both said things we regretted. In the end, I know this letter won't make up for it, and I know what we had is gone forever. But I'm sorry.

I pray that I can defeat Sin so you can go on. But if not, I'll be whistling for you. Maybe we'll meet again someday.
