UNKNOWN MALE HE/HIM STRAIGHT UNKNOWN/DEMON? DARKNESS |
Personality- Black Hat loves evil although he views many other villains as inferior beings of evil compared to himself; despite the fact he's only running a company and not taking over the world. The fact he's infamous doesn't dawn on him, in fact he's a very expressive being. Not afraid let alone caring about how he words things or how his expressions almost always give away he's up to something dark but at times, he can hide it; though it's not a common thing. He can be vulgar and a bit narcissistic, all he wants is to see the world a little more evil and the heroes in it more dead. Despite all his powers, he actually likes the many evil inventions that Flurg creates and that they try to make a profit on. The inhuman fiend having a preference to ray guns over other methods of using certain weapons and he was annoyed with how the anti-gravitational device wasn't a ray gun. Kindness isn't something he can do and mean it, he will happily trick you but his kind moments are only for the purpose of a trick. Needless to say, he's not angry or annoyed all the time. He's often calm and collected but baring short fuse with the fools under his employment. In fact, those around him often suffer from his tricks be they for personal amusement or just out of anger. In terms of his companions, Dr. Flurg is the only one he can stand a good deal of despite the doctor being a jumpy mess. Black Hat enjoys their many inventions, it's often the result where the Flurg or the others interfere with said inventions that annoy him. 5.05 is a failure in his eyes and is everything that the creature wasn't designed for. As much as innocents provide him a chance for amusement or testing inventions on, there is someone worse in the demon's eyes. That being Dementia. This strange woman gets on his nerves a great deal easily than others and with love being a thing he doesn't understand; or care to, it frustrates him even more. Though like with 5.05, he can often find a way to make amusement for himself by messing with her. Despite this, he doesn't really view these people as comrades or companions, let alone fellow villains. They're just inferior beings of evil that he has been stuck with. This inhuman being also has a preference for himself to be sharply dressed and while he can be a little narcisstic, he prefers himself the way he is. He was near disgusted with the odd version of himself created by the monster one; which 5.05 thought up as the most evil thing. When Dementia created another version of himself, he was shocked and near the point of disguised by the larger and muscular form. In short, he's a being who loves his evil ways and trying to spread those darker ways. Though he suffers from a short temper, he can have his own brand of fun. History- Evil is what this inhuman being enjoys, however they aren't at the top of the villainy food chain. Instead he runs a company sharing his name called Black Hat Inc. He supplies other villains with weapons and items to either help them destroy their heroes, keep their evil lairs safe, or just random things to make the villain feel more egotistical about themselves. Despite this, he finds himself surrounded by idiots as he views them. For a good while, things progressed as normal. Flurg invented some weapon or device, Black Hat would try to sell it with the Dr's help, and somehow it would end up messed up. Though sometimes Black Hat would try to change the situation to try and make it seem it was intended. However Black Hat found himself approached with a interesting offer. Help spread evil and darkness into other worlds? WHy not?! The idiots would have the house to roam around in; though they better not destroy it, while he was gone. Besides, the thought of a challenge in spreading his evil through different means was rather thrilling. So he agreed with a fang filled grin on his dark skinned face at the thought of how this could all play out in amusing ways. |
(THe limits I've put on his abilities isn't proven in the show or from what I've read, it's just what I thought would work to help him fit into the site better and not be overpowered.)
As a Inhuman being, BLack Hat has some odd abilities. However his more powerful ones are restricted to his home. Meaning that certain things will work in his evil lair/house, while outside of his home thus his universe, these abilities either aren't accessible or they have weakened.
Abilities:
Regeneration- While in his home, he has clearly ripped the skin of his face off once and suffered no ill effects; and oddly no bleeding. HIs regenerative healing is much slower outside of his home. Cuts, scraps, and small wounds will heal within the day of receiving them. However, life threatening injuries or severe injuries will take a week to heal perhaps even longer depending on the severity of the injury.
Shape Shifting- Whether or not Black Hat's current form is his real one, it is very clear that he can change his form at will or based upon emotion or upon will. When greatly angered he did get much larger and both eyes turned red, though he quickly shifted back. His clothes are able to shift with him most of the time, though when he creates claws his gloves do tear. A natural limit to his shapeshifting is while he can turn into others physically, he can only do it to people he knows; such as the idiots he keeps with him. This doesn't give him access to their powers or even their speech. He can fake their voices if he knows them well enough though this isn't due to shapeshifting. A drawback to this is changing back to normal isn't a pretty sight, in truth it's rather gross looking. He can also shift parts of himself rather than his whole appearance.
His voice- Oddly enough when he shapeshifts or is angered, his own voices changes. Sounding more dark and demonic, often though this is just a natural thing for him and thus doesn't really count as a ability. If anything when it happens when he shifts, it is probably not something he can control and it most likely is the same when he gets angered. HOwever he has altered his voice without being angered.
Demonic portal- although only used to sort of agree with Dementia on evil being the only thing in the house. He tore open a small hand sized portal in a chalk board which emitted a horrible sound as ghosts poured in; the sound didn't really seem to affect him. This is something he can only do within his home and as it remains unseen, these portals are very like only accessible to go through by the ghosts that come through the other side of it. A side effect from this portal; while short lived, leaves a hole in the object of the same size.
Summoning objects- Another thing only seen once and also restricted to his home, is a large black pipe Organ. When playing the keys on it, it sounds out a sound wave blast destroying a good portion of things in the room. While this doesn't kill anyone, it does leave a black layer on them wherever the soundwave hit; kind of like soot, and if the person is wearing the glasses, the lens will break.
Laser vision- This only works in one eye and it's the eye with the monocle obscuring it. It is capable of killing smaller creatures causing them to puff up before exploding; not in a gorey way. With bigger objects or beings, this will most likely put a burn or a deeper burn depending on how long it's hitting the same spot. Anything bigger than a rabbit won't explode.
Painting Antics- Restricted to his home. This ability only works with pictures of himself in someway and in the home. WHen inside the painting, he can clearly affect the whole house as when he rammed himself into the side of the painting, he shifted the entire house in the same direction.
Superhuman strength- while not the most strongest being out there, Black Hat is capable of controlling his most likely demonic strength as he can be seen crushing things in his hand and applying pressure onto a person that almost brings them to tears. This strength is also applied when he is inside the portraits in his house and makes it shift; once again that is restricted to the house only.
Shadow Manipulation- By using another person's shadow; although temporarily, he can cause non-living objects to come alive for short periods of time. These objects often become mischievous and scare people. However these objects are easily scared by Black Hat when he makes a more terrifying face at them. In which the object 'faints' and the shadow returns to the person. He can only do this with one person at a time to one object at a time.
Illusion- Black Hat can create small illusions though they often look like a black purplish mist before they take shape. Though unless maintained by him, the illusions fades very quickly.

Cane- A black cane with the normal curved top. This item does nothing special though it isn't needed for walking. Often it just completes the look of Black Hat's gentleman like style outfit. Though this wooden stick will hurt if he chooses to whack ya with it.
