“Things never happen the same way twice.” - C.S. Lewis
One hundred years ago the Tree of Protection fell without warning. The magic that protected the Kingdom of Narnia from the immortal White Witch Jadis' evil was no more. In less than a year she rose from the Wild Lands of the North with her mighty, villainous armies of dark creatures and overthrew the last descendant of Frank I, first King of Narnia. She abolished any judicial system, simply turning all her political adversaries into stone and decorated the statuesque figures in her palace courtyard. Plunging the Kingdom of Narnia in an eternal winter, Queen Jadis placed a ban on all human from entering into the Kingdom of Narnia due to the prophecy that was revealed shortly after her conquest that foretold her downfall:
Wrong will be right, when Aslan comes in sight,
At the sound of his roar, sorrows will be no more,
When he bares his teeth, winter meets its death,
And when he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again.
When Adam's flesh and Adam's bone,
Sits at Cair Paravel in throne,
The evil time will be over and done.
At the sound of his roar, sorrows will be no more,
When he bares his teeth, winter meets its death,
And when he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again.
When Adam's flesh and Adam's bone,
Sits at Cair Paravel in throne,
The evil time will be over and done.
Since then the Talking Beasts and various creature inhabitants of Narnia have waited, hoping for the Son and Daughter of Adam to come and the mighty lion Aslan's return.
There has been a recent change in the weather, a warmer wind has blown from the East and with it new visitors from strange, foreign lands. Each one of them has one thing in common: each bears a silver ring on their right ring-finger that they cannot remove.
How did these strangers get to Narnia? Were they sent? No, perhaps they were chosen.
Could one or more of these new inhabitants be the next king or queen of Narnia?
Only one way to find out, will you enter the story?
