[WARNING: PERSONA 5 SPOILERS AHEAD, READ AT OWN RISK] Lavenza takes the form of a young girl, with long white hair and soft yellow eyes. Her voice is soft and she speaks in a mature way, befitting of her status as Igor's assistant. She admires mankind and their resistance to consign to the fate laid out for them, believing she can learn from them. Lavenza was born in the Velvet Room of the Trickster's heart, although her life as an individual was cut rather short when the God of Control Yaldaboath forcibly split her soul into two other's, Caroline and Justine. However Lavenza remained conscious in the form of a butterfly, flitting around the Trickster's life as he was forced to play the game Yaldaboath had forced on him. It is here that she helps him through his journey of Rehabilitation, hoping that one day he would break through the chains of his own heart and save her, her Master, and the world itself. When failing utterly miserably and sentenced to death, one half of herself had refused to fight the Trickster, and instead opted to convince her sister to put her weapon down. The twins then fused themselves, resulting in Lavenza regaining her form as the true Velvet Room assistant, and not only that but Igor also awakens from his slumber that Yaldaboath forced on him. Lavenza helps the party in any way she can to fight the God, healing them when their health is too low. Only until after Yaldaboath is defeated does she fade away with Igor, claiming that there is a new Wild Card user to be nursed. Because of her past interactions with Gods, she is not quite ready to place her faith in a God whose face she cannot see. Even after discovering a way back towards her home, Lavenza continues to travel through the multiverse, exploring and gaining data for her Master. Though she doesn't understand her Master's interest in the other worlds, it is not for her to understand, she is equally curious about just what it is about this new world. The phenomenon of pulling other's into an area... she wonder's what kind of powers these Gods have, and if it is connected to anything she should worry about. |
Being a Velvet Room assistant, Lavenza has many abilities a regular Persona user would possess, although she lacks an actual Persona. This is because she, although possessing a single soul, is not truly a real person. However she does wield healing abilities and surprisingly strong physical and elemental attacks.
Although technically not a fighting ability, Lavenza is immortal thanks to being a creation of Igor.
