Being the most prominent landmark, the Pantheon seemed like an obvious first destination for Yusuke. Though once he actually stood beneath the portico and fully comprehended the building's scale and architecture, he was disquieted. It felt as though these halls were unwelcoming of his ilk. It's true that he denounced a god in the past, so was aware it would be deemed sacrilegious to enter a place that seemed so pious. He had no intention of associating with gods who would impose their will upon those they felt were beneath them, good intentions or otherwise. That's why he made the decision to join the Neutral Faction, and why he had no reason to pray within these halls. The Pantheon, in a sense, represented the path he had strayed from, so to stand underneath its roof felt like he was trespassing.
Though he had no desire to actually infiltrate (Phantom Thief or not), Yusuke still found the exterior of the Pantheon aesthetically pleasing. He joined his two index fingers and thumbs together into the shape of a picture frame and took in his surroundings. Age made its imprint on the concrete, but touches of modern upkeep were evident as well. The pillars ascended to a dizzying height, as if hoping they would at least scrape the heavens. The clash of ancient architecture surrounded by futuristic advancement was a bit trite in his opinion, but such a clash was inevitable with the march of time. He wasn't going to dock points.
Yusuke's vision was eventually fixed upon the stairs, where he saw a figure climbing them. Childlike glee softened on his face as his brows narrowed for a more guarded expression as they approached.
