Genius Gamer M
@anyone • M's out to play and wants to fight a baddie •
You are me, and I am you.
Eyes opened slowly as the young man stood straight up from leaning on the wall. A red shine in his eyes was fading to his normal brown, and as he looked around, a cocky smile formed on his face. Heralds would be familiar with Emu, but it wasn't he who was making an awakening.
"So, I finally get a chance to explore. Let's see what this place has to offer for me."
M decided to shed his doctor coat, leaving it in the common area, before he went out to wander, taking in the views of this new world he'd heard about in his eavesdropping. He'd been quiet lately, almost dormant, but something had jarred Emu into a state of anxiety. And when that happened, he knew it was his duty to come out.
A hand went to his chin as he walked the streets, thinking about what he had heard his other self talking about.
"Emu mentioned Heralds and Harbingers, and those of neutrality... Maybe if I coaxed one out, I could have some fun."
His grin returned.
"Sounds like a challenge."
---
Several people watched the young man climb onto the ornate fountain, hanging from it as he cried out to the busy square.
"I hear so much of these Harbingers you all speak of, followers of the Gods other than they of the Light. I hear of how great you are, how talented you are, but talk is cheap. One of you come face the genius gamer M in a friendly spar, if you can. No need to feel cowardly. After all, you fight for the pride of your leader, no?"
With that, he jumped down, and almost out of convenience, his Gamer Driver appeared in his hand. He looked at the device, smiling, and put it on, the belt clicking as it locked into place. Satisfied for now, he crossed his arms, leaning against the fountain, waiting.
"Hopefully they're cocky enough to fall for that bait. I'll have to wait until they arrive to see what to use..."
The yawn that followed expressed no worry, and even seemed casual. It looked like he needed a warm-up for whatever might be coming.
