13 MALE HE/HIM BISEXUAL TRICKSTER NEUTRAL |
Memories of your birth are hazy, though you remember the shadow of Mementos, then the comfort of the Velvet Room Your birth was one of purpose, and your master tasked you with the job of guiding the "wild card" that would soon come to awaken in the world. You, master Igor, and Lavenza waited until he was to appear, to stop the impending ruin. What you didn't expect was an attack by a God. You tried defending Igor, but you couldn't, and after Lavenza was split into two, you were cast out into Mementos, memories torn away. You found yourself forced to wander through the cognitive world, eventually finding yourself among a Palace. You tried to escape, but instead were captured, left in a cell to rot. In this time, snippets of memories would come back, and you knew you had to find someone, but the rest was hazy. And then he came along. A thief in the night, who saved you from Kamoshida's castle. You and him fought to get out, but he came back, wanting to enact justice. You dubbed him Joker, and realized how powerful he actually was. When you agreed to team up, the Phantom Thieves were born, though you didn't expect expansion so soon after. Joker's friend, Ryuji, awakened his Persona as well, and Skull was born. Soon after that, you would start living with Joker in the real world, under the guise of a cat. Soon after, another human caught your eyes, Ann Takamani, and you fell in love. She was gorgeous, and sweet to boot. When she came to the cognitive world, you were eager to tell her to go away, but she cam eback, getting herself caught. But, whether by chance or fate, she awakened as well, and Panther was born. Your guidance led the Phantom Thieves to Kamoshida's treasure, and the defeat of the teacher himself. Stealing the treasure was a success, and from then on out, the Phantom Thieves worked to steal the hearts of the corrupt. Acting as their guide, your endeavors would lead to the hearts of Ichiryusai Madarama, Junya Kaneshiro, and Futaba Sakura's hearts being stolen. In kind, this led to the awakening and recruitment of Yusuke Kitagawa, Makoto Niijima, and ironically, Futaba Sakura. Thus, Fox, Queen, and Oracle were added to the team. It was around this time that you began to have nightmares of your birth, and memories began to come back. You also lead the party to go into Mementos, the birthplace of the public's cognition, to steal the hearts of those who haven't developed Palaces yet. However, your rivalry with Ryuji was leading to you two butting heads, and when he called Futaba a better guide for the team, you took offense, and a few days later stormed off, intending to infiltrate the Palace of your next target alone. The target was Kunikazu Okumura, and you infiltrated successfully, but struggled to progress further. Injured, you escaped the Palace, where you were found by Haru Okumura. She was accidentally dragged into the Palace with you, and faced her own awakening, her Persona coming to form from the desire to not be wed to the one her father arranged her with. Eventually, as you two tried once again to infiltrate, you ran into the Phantom Thieves, and you told them to go home. You two could handle it. However, when faced with the biometric scanners of Okumura's Palace, they couldnt' be opened. Until Haru tried, revealing herself to be the daughter of the Palace's owner. However, you realized that you weren't doing the right thing, and you and Haru re-joined the Phantom Thieves, with her taking the name Noir. The heist was successful, thoguh to everyone's horror, when Okumura confessed his sins, he died soon after. With talk that the Phantom Thieves had killed Okumura on the rise, a certain man, Goro Acheki, began to become very popular. He was an investigator, and when asked to come to the Phantom Thieves' school. The Phantom Thieves had met him prior to all this, as he continued his investigations. He reveals to the crowd that he knows the identity of the Phantom Thieves, but has to cut the speech short. In secret, he took you all aside and revealed he knew their secret, but instead offered to work with them, as he had awoken his Persona, Robin Hood, by infiltrating the Palace of Sae Niijima, another investigator of the Phantom Thieves, and Makoto's sister. The party, along with Goro, codename Crow, infiltrate Sae's Palace and eventually get to the point where they face her. However, when they go to steal her treasure, Futaba reports that many police had showed up in the cognitive world, and are there for the Phantom Thieves. Your team manages to escape, but at the sacrifice of Akira, who is taken into custody and interrogated by Sae. However, when she finishes, Goro goes in to talk to him, and suddenly, the news is announced that Akira had committed suicide. All according to plan. The Phantom Thieves knew Goro's true intentions, as well as the one trying to give the Phantom Thieves a bad name by causing mental breakdowns. He had understood you in the real world, something only those who had entered the cognitive world could do. So, instead of taking Sae's treasure, Makoto convinced her to make a cognitive version of the interrogation room, with a fake Akira, to throw Goro off their trail. As the world thought Akira dead, Goro's true plan came into fruition. Or rather, his superior's. He was working under Masayoshi Shido, the aspiring Prime Minister, who had used all the Phantom Thieves' targets to manipulate both the real and cognitive worlds. The realization that Shido was the man who ruined Akira's life leads them to infiltrate Shido's palace, a ship that he himself felt he must guide. The team goes around, defeating five cronis of Shido to get the letters to allow them contact with him. However, they are stopped by Goro, who fights them, revealing his true Persona. He turns out to be the one behind all the mental breakdowns, and reveals that he plans to get SHido into power, then overwhelm him so he was truly in power. His Persona, Loki, is used to drive himself mad, and you all fight him. In the end, you are victorious, but Shido's cognitive version of Goro appears, wanting to kill the real one to tie up loose ends. Realizing his father must be stopped, the real Goro makes amends with you all, and both he and his cognitive self are locked in a flooding room, and both die. With that, your first stage of the infiltration is complete, and you return to the real world, only to record a broadcast announcing that Akira was alive. In short, it's the ultimate calling card. This works, and the Phantom Thieves enter Shido's world again. After a grueling fight, Shadow Shido is defeated, and his Treasure stolen, however, as the real Shido realizes it is happening, he takes a poison to try and kill the Phantom Thieves. They barely make it out alive, but are successful in their mission. Shido lives, and admits his wrongdoings. However, nobody seems to believe the Phantom Thieves really did it. This leads to the ultimate heist. The party dives into Mementos to steal the Treasure of the public, and make them realize the error of their ways. As you all dive deeper, you realize that the people have fallen into a mindset of submission, and the source of it turns out to be the Treasure, a great Holy Grail. The party is unsuccessful in fighting it, and are ejected from Mementos, where you all find Mementos and Shibuya becoming one. Because the cognitive world was fusing with the real world, and the public didn't believe int he Phantom Thieves anymore, you are remeoved from their cognition. And you fade. However, where the rest of the Phantom Thieves save Joker are put into cells, doubting themselves, you find yourself once again in your old home, the Velvet Room. Joker had faced the false Igor, the god who attacked you and your master initially, and fused Lavenza back into one. With your true master reborn, your memories come back, and you remember your purpose as the guide for the Fool, Joker's right-hand man. Together, you reassemble your team, and are able to re-enter the fused world. The connections that Akira made with his various friends allow you to stay alive, and as you fight your way to the Holy Grail, they rally the public into believing in the Phantom Thieves. This encourages you all, and you fight through the waves of angels back to the Holy Grail, where you sever its bonds to the public. In defeating it, it reveals its true form, as the false Igor, proclaiming itself as the god Yaldabaoth. You and your friends are punished with various forms of the sins, but the public rallies in your favor, and suddenly, your Joker has his true awakening. Satanel is summoned, and the God is killed by the demon of the Trickster. Your purpose was done. And as Mementos faded from the real world, so did you, with a goodbye to your team. Your cognitive self faded, and you accepted your fate. ... Only to wake up in a new world, in your cat form. It was a strange place, and you could find your friends nowhere, but what you did find was the ability to access your cognitive form again. Lost, without your master or friends, you wandered. Until another God spoke to you, proclaiming you a warrior of their cause. |
