OPEN TO ANY PERSONA 5 CHARACTERS
It's just like a role-playing game. Classic RPG rules meant all there was to do was spend a little time exploring, maybe whack a roaming pig monster upside the head, then WHAM! Level up. Follow the objectives and map out the world and... Futaba tapped her fingers against her elbow, arms crossed in deep contemplation. It was all she could do to keep herself from completely shutting down. Alone without the comforting presence of Akira to calm her down and so much unfamiliarity-- she winced and found herself falling into that small hovering position she always went into when she was nervous. The young woman took a deep, shaking breath and pulled her knees close to her chest like she could protect herself from this terrible, horrible, dreadfully great unknown.
But it wasn't an unknown, she tried to convince herself again. It was just... a game. A simple game that she could get through if she did what she does best. Too bad Futaba didn't feel like she was 'best' at anything at the moment. All the girl could think about was how comforting it would be to have her desktop in front of her to get lost in something other than all of this. Or she could just be in her room. That'd be pretty good too. Off in her room where it was quiet, calm, and safe. Clutching her head, Futaba groaned a little. She was making it worse, running these circles in her own mind and freaking herself out instead of just accepting the situation and trying to cope with it. Things sounded so much easier back when she was being coached by everyone...
Forcing herself back to her feet Futaba took in her surroundings like it was just another mission in the Metaverse. Gathering data for the team, that was her duty! Hyping herself up like that certainly helped stave off that anxiety she was always combating. For now. Maybe if she was lucky she'd be able to summon her persona again sometime soon and use it like a security blanket. After all, at the moment there was some kind of... block. Was it because the Metaverse was gone for good that she couldn't call forth the persona? It felt like there was something else preventing it. She still felt the presence of it deep inside her soul.
