ROY
FIFTEEN MALE HE / HIM BISEXUAL HUMAN LIGHT FACTION |
stuff goes here whenever i care |
Having just emerged from a war that consumed his continent, Roy is decent with a sword. Despite his age, his foundations are solid, having been directly taught by the Mage General of Etruria. That said, there is nothing superhuman, or even extraordinary, about his swordsmanship. His form is good, and his blows are precise, and there is a purpose to every swing, but he cannot muster overwhelming strength or speed behind his blows. He fights about as well as a soldier might - maybe even a little better - but he does not dominate the battlefield.
The weapon is the great equalizer though, and it is no different here. Roy carries the Binding Blade; a mighty sword lost to Elibe’s ancient history. Said to transcend even the Divine Weapons that ended The Scouring, it carries supernatural force behind its swings, and proves even more potent against the dragons of Elibe. At crucial moments Roy can wreath its steel in flame for an explosive burst of power. This may even be used at range, simply hurling this fire at his enemy. It also held the curious power of sealing the Demon Dragon’s power and sending her into a deep slumber. It is unclear if this strange function can find use elsewhere, as it was specifically crafted to fight dragons, but the effect itself seems more reliant on the wielders feelings.
In any event, while Roy can indeed fight, his greatest strength is as a commander. He is charismatic and shrewd, and he personally led an ever growing force against a military power that may have subjugated the known world. He may lead from the from the front lines, but leading still remains his forte. As long as he can maintain awareness and process the changing tides of battle, he holds the chance to overturn any unfavorable obstacle.
