This is the kinda most feels-inducing character from the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky/Darkness/Time series. He's fought through so much, lost his partner, found his partner again but only to see her partnered with another Pokemon, had his hope crushed several times and survived in a future where everything is frozen. Not to mention faced off against what might be the strongest boss in the PMD franchise just to buy his partner more time. Although he can definitely be a bit stoic and lonely at times, there are good reasons for that! In the future of frozen time no Pokemon are able to trust each other and it's basically survival of the fittest. Come on in and plot!

When it comes to friends, Grovyle is weary at first. Because of his world and the situations there it's difficult for him to trust people straight away. But once you earn his respect and loyalty, he'll protect you in every way possible. Show him kindness, and he'll show you the same in return. Note that he refuses to take sides in any kind of fight thanks to his experiences in the past unless his morals decide otherwise.
