[ WELCOME TO THE MULTIVERSE ]

Once there were four gods that ruled The Pantheon at the Center of the Universe. Their conflicting ideology caused them to battle over control of the Multiverse, causing them to lose their physical forms. Now unable to fight each other directly, the gods recruit others from across the Multiverse into their three factions: the Heralds of Light, the Neutral Faction, and the Harbingers of Darkness. In the battle for good, evil, and balance— what will you decide?

Welcome to The Pantheon! We are a panfandom/multifandom RPG that allows characters from across all mediums— from animation, to live action, to literature! We feature an overarching, interactive plot, as well as an ability to shape the boards on the forum itself! Please be sure to read the rules and lore, and we hope to see you join us!

CHOOSE YOUR FACTION

Here on The Pantheon your canon characters will be divided into three factions: the Heralds of Light, the Neutral Faction, and the Harbingers of Darkness. Your character may change faction throughout the course of role play, but the initial choice is indicative of their character and will be the starting point for their journey into the Multiverse.

HERALDS OF LIGHT
They are self-defined "good guys." The God of Light wants just as much control over the universe as the God of Dark, but she is quieter and more shrewd about it. Thus, the Heralds of Light seek justice and to right the wrongs of the universe caused by the God of Dark. They are often self-sacrificing and altruistic, doing things for others rather than themselves.

THE NEUTRAL FACTION
The God of Wisdom and the God of War seek to bring balance of both chaos and harmony to the Multiverse. The Neutral Faction is perhaps the most volatile-- while it does contain selfless individuals who want to restore balance, it also has those who act only in self-preservation, or those who scorn the beliefs of Light and Dark. There is little cooperation here, despite Wisdom and War's best efforts.

HARBINGERS OF DARKNESS
Many of those who would be deigned "villains" fall into this faction. The God of Dark wants to cause chaos to the Multiverse and shape it in their image, and their followers are all the more willing to comply. Of course, all Harbingers have their reasons for joining this faction, but the desire to bring an end to universes remains the same.
